Artist Ulrich Gleiter is taking America by storm, winning awards in events and competitions across the country. People are drawn to his loose, impressionistic scenes, and his thick paint is a style usually seen only among Russians. This young German-born artist studied at the Dresden Academy and then at the famed Russian Academy's Repin Institute in St. Petersburg, where he refined his skills. Now he brings these skills to America so you can learn the Russian impressionistic style of bold brushstrokes, abstract shapes, and thick paint.
